Change

Again.... its been ages since I updated on here. Life has been very busy... and so much has changed! Here is a short re-cap of whats been going on.

-I went thru another 2 route managers... and finally took over the position myself in late May. I am really enjoying the position and I have a wonderful partner, which makes all the difference.

-Sadly I was in a car accident yesterday, in my company car no less. I was stopped for some cars ahead of me, and a young girl just plowed right into me. She obviously was not paying attention. Thankfully, everyone walked away from the accident, I do have minor whiplash tho and am a bit shaken up over it. My poor Molly Mobile was completly totalled tho...more then likely it will just be written off. So I suppose I will get a new car which isn't such a bad thing. Its really amazing how fast stuff like that can happen... It was just one of those days were everything that could go wrong did...

-Earlier this year I was diagnosed with IBS  (irritable bowel syndrome).  Once we figured out that was the problem, the specialist was able to direct me in how to manage it... and since then I have felt really good. I find I am able to go out more now, I rarely have stomach pains, and in general I just seem much more happy... which is great.

-Also,I am now selling Avon again. So if anyone would like a catelogue just let me know :)

-Graham and I went to Ottawa on May 24 weekend, and had a blast! It was a lot so much fun. Graham has some old highschool buddies that live there so we stayed with them. We were right down town on the Saturday when the Senators won their game and made it to the Stanley Cup playoffs. I got to see all the parliment buildings and do lot of touristy type stuff. We went to see Spiderman 3, and play mini golf. I even tried some Vietanamese (sp?) food. Can't say I am really a fan... but it was a good experience to have tried it atleast. We are hoping to get up there again sometime soon for another visit.

-We have a pretty busy summer a head of us too... so I will make sure I keep you all updated!

Later!

Stephanie

Wow... time flys when your having fun eh?

Well I can't exactly say I've been having fun... but its a living. I have once again lost another route manager, this time due to person reasons. As for me I will start working with my new route manager in a week or so. I really hope that she works out... it so hard to have to work with different people all the time. On that note... Friday turned our to be a crazy day! I started my day out working with Route 5 in a team of 3. We had 5 houses to do and had finished 3 by the time we got a call from the office. Apparently the assistant on Route 8 decided she really didn't like her job anymore and just walked our and went home leaving the route manager to work by herself. So the office had me transferred over to work with her instead. By the time I got there she was half done her 2nd house so I helped her finish up. By then we were both exhausted... and we still had 2 more big houses to go! I suggested to the route manager to call the office and see if we could have a house transfered to another route or to possibly get another team to come and help us finish up the other 2 houses. Thankfully, the route manager from Route 3 was kind enough to come and help us with the 2 houses. We still never got done until 5pm! It was a crazy day and I sure was glad to get home. For this week I will be working on Route 3 until they are able to get my route up and running again.

Our new living arrangements are continuing to work out well. Seems we have all adapted well to living together, which is awesome! Graham and I have been able to come up with a Five year finacial plan, so that we are able to reach our goals. It still needs some tweeking but it looks really good so far, very obtainable which I like.

As for my health... I was just recently at the Doctor to discuss my tummy troubles. He didn't give me any definate answers, but he is sending me to a Gastrointestinal Specialist to find out for sure what my be causing me all the pain. It had finally got to the point where it felt like I couldn't eat anything, because I only ended up with a stomach ache. I am on some medicine now that seems to be working... which is nice.

Well I guess thats all for now...

BYE!

Time Just Fly's By...

Wow... its been a very long while since I've made a post. I'm sorry to all of you readers who stop by every once in a while. I have been so busy, that I haven't really had the time to update till now.

So anyway.. the low down on whats been going on...

First and foremost, Graham and I ended our lease at our condo and have moved in with his parents to save some money. All of us (ie... Peter, Shirley, Heather, Graham and I) have rented a house and Graham and I are living in the basement and Shirley, Peter and Heather are living in the upstairs and we share the living room/dining room and kitchen that are in-between. Its a really nice set up... and Graham and I have made ourselves a cute little living space in the basement. Its been about a week so far and things seem to be going really well.

However, because we had to end our lease early with our previous landlords they have been giving us nothing but problems for the last 2 months.I don't think I can go into it right now since we may have to take legal actions... but we are trying to deal with it the best that we can.

The rest of my time has been spent a work recently. I have another new route manager... but she is really nice and pretty cool. We get along really well.

On a very happy note my best friend has gotten engaged.... CONGRATULATIONS VAL!!!!!!!!!!!!! and she has asked me to be a bridesmaid in her wedding too... I am very excited!

A couple of weekends ago we went to the UCC retreat at Camp Omagh. It turned out to be a nice weekend. Besides being cold I had a really great time hanging out with everyone. I really look forward to going again next year.

I guess thats about all for now... but I'll try and post more often.

Take care and God Bless!

Well... its been a while since I've made an entry here. I've been busy... thats my excuse and I am sticking to it

This past weekend Graham and I went up to Cochrane to visit his family. Peter, Shirley, Heather, Sharlah and Nathan went too. It was a great weekend, it was so nice up there that I didn't want to leave. I felt so spoiled having homemade meals... especially the bread and jam. The fresh air was really nice too

Here are some pictures from our trip:

Here is Grahamn and I after our walk down the railway tracks to the river

Graham playing with his grandparents magnifying glass.... weird eh?

Heather, Me and Jack Sparrow (our trip masscot)

Jack Sparrow and Graham's Old Highschool Buddy Jason

If you haven't read Heathers Journal... Jack Sparrow was a MacDonalds Happy Meal Toy that Heather got on the trip up. We decided that he would be our trip masscot and we went ahead and took tons of pictures of him (Jack) at landmarks in Cochrane. It was a lot of fun. We even got a picture of Jack with a cop car...... Good times

Anyway, Thats all for now... I will update again soon.

Take care and God bless!

Got this as an e-mail forward ... and I thought it was definatly worth sharing... ENJOY!

TRUTHS...

I dialed a number and got the following recording: "I am not available right now, but thank you for caring enough to call. I am making some changes in my life. Please leave a message after the beep. If I do not return your call, you are one of the changes."

At pilots training back in the Air Corps they taught us, "Always try to keep the number of landings you make equal to the number of take offs you make."
~~~~~
Little Tommy had been to a birthday party at a friend's house. Knowing his sweet tooth, Tommy's mother looked straight into his eyes and said, "I hope you didn't ask for a second piece of cake."
"No, but I asked Mrs. Smith for the recipe so you could make some like it, and she gave me two more pieces without asking."
My wife and I had words, but I didn't get to use mine.
~~~~~
As my five year old son and I were headed to McDonald's one day, we passed a car accident. Usually when we see something terrible like that, we say a prayer for those who might be hurt, so I pointed and said to my son, "We should pray."
From the back seat I heard his earnest request: "Please, God, don't let those cars block the entrance to McDonald's."

Frustration is trying to find your glasses without your glasses.

Blessed are those who can give without remembering and take without forgetting.

The irony of life is that, by the time you're old enough to know your way around, you're not going anywhere.

God made man before woman so as to give him time to think of an answer for her first question.

I was always taught to respect my elders, but it keeps getting harder to find one.

Every morning is the dawn of a new error.

Take Care and God Bless!
